ALDO CIBIC

“Aldo Cibic studied in Milan under the guide of Ettore Sottsass. Still young, infact, he moved to Milan and in 1980 he became a member of “Sottsass Associati”, with Matteo Thun and Marco Zanini, and of Memphis in years later. The 80’s period corresponds to the professional education of Aldo Cibic with periods of maximum design and architectural experimentations and his stylistic maturity.

In the ’90 Aldo Cibic founded his own studio, which includes also today activities in the architecture, interiors and design fields both project in Italy and abroad. He developed, at the same time, a work of research of alternative design in the field of design and architecture, in academic range related with the Domus Academy, Politecnico of Milan, IUAV University of Venice and Tongji University of Shanghai, where he is honorary professor.”
