Riva 1920 loves nature, but also its customers and that is why it offers an authentic product made of real natural wood, in full respect of the environment and the people who live there. Each element is subjected to detailed quality and functional conformity checks, to which is added the use of vinyl glues and finish based on vegetable wax and oil, a guarantee of an authentic and completely natural product.
REFORESTATION
Solid wood and plywood are the two fundamental materials in the production of Riva 1920 brand furniture. Solid wood is the mother ingredient and essences are used that come exclusively from controlled and programmed cuts. This means that every time a tree is cut for the production of Riva 1920 furniture, others are replanted, so the circle of life does not stop and nature is given back what it has given to us.
QUALITY OF MATERIALS
Plywood(or blockboard) panels are made using only Italian poplar wood from Piedmont and lower Lombardy. Poplar tree plants grow rapidly (cycle of about 7/10 years) and the wood that is requarried is therefore an easily renewable raw material.
FROM THE INSIDE TO THE OUTSIDE
Presenting the furnishings by showing the quality enclosed within them is possible through the destructuring of some pieces, which have been deliberately split and sectioned so as to show the soul of the furniture.
The wood that can be seen externally is also found inside, the end customer has the certainty of having purchased a piece of furniture made of 100% natural solid wood.
The side uprights and the backrests are made of plywood and / or blockboard with Ital-ian poplar wood. The use of this technique allows for greater stability and resistance.
The furniture is made up of a solid wood top and plinth, in order to guarantee greater solidity and strength. The solid wood drawers are made with traditional dovetail technique, these right angle joints are particularly valid and contribute to the aesthetic value and robustness of the product.

tree cultivated in specially created nurseries, to be planted in a garden, in a wood or in a park.
