ATELIER ALDO COPPOLA
Milan, Italy
2024
Riva1920 oversaw the production of the furnishings for the new Atelier Aldo Coppola, located at Via Cerva 19 in Milan: a 300-square-metre space spread across three levels, conceived to embody the values of innovation, design, and relaxation.
Wood lies at the heart of the project, serving as a central element not only for its aesthetic qualities but also for its contribution to the overall wellbeing of both clients and professionals.
The furnishings are crafted using reclaimed materials such as Venetian briccole—lagoon poles rich in symbolic and material significance—and Lebanese cedar, prized for its distinctive fragrance.
The latter was used to create workstations with the integrated BEKKUCCIO mirrors, AUDREY brush-shaped waiting benches inspired by the iconic Aldo Coppola hairbrush, the new KOMODA armchairs combining design and comfort, and the LA PETTINEUSE wardrobe unit, conceived as an oversized comb for hanging garments.
All furnishings were designed and conceived by Aldo Coppola Jr. and crafted with Riva1920’s artisanal expertise, in a project that brings together identity, sustainability, and meticulous attention to detail.
