Studio Sostanza

Studio Sostanza is a Turin-based practice active since 2019 in the field of industrial design. Founded by Alessia Pagotto and Valeria Francescato, the studio specializes in the design of writing instruments, accessories, and furniture pieces, with advanced expertise in 3D modeling, generative design, 3D printing, and digital fabrication.

The duo has received international awards and recognition, including the A’Design Award, ADI Design Index, Porada International Design Award, and Ideas for Wood contest, and has collaborated on projects with renowned Italian companies.

Since 2022, Alessia Pagotto and Valeria Francescato have been teaching design and 3D modeling at the Department of Industrial Design at IED – Istituto Europeo di Design in Turin.
