IF IT'S REAL WOOD, IT LASTS FOREVER.
RIVA1920 AND SILVERA PRESENT THE LATEST RIVA1920 DESIGNS DURING PARIS DESIGN WEEK.
During the 2025 edition of Paris Design Week, Riva1920, a renowned brand known for its high-quality solid wood furniture, is exhibiting exclusively at the Silvera Saint-Germain showroom. Silvera has chosen to spotlight the values of sustainability and excellence by featuring Riva1920 over several months.
The exhibition is centred around a message that Riva1920 has upheld for over 30 years: "If it’s real wood, it lasts forever." This philosophy reflects a shared commitment to promoting carefully selected materials, such as reclaimed solid wood and timber from sustainably managed forests, using environmentally responsible finishes and adhesives.
Located at 209 Boulevard Saint-Germain, 75007 Paris, the SILVERA Saint-Germain showroom spans 55 square meters and has been unconventionally designed as an elegant, sophisticated showcase. The space embodies the philosophy of both companies, celebrating the natural beauty of wood through an immersive experience that features solid wood slabs ready to be transformed into exceptional pieces of furniture.
This living installation highlights how exclusive furniture collections can elevate precious materials like aromatic Lebanese cedar, sustainably sourced walnut, and Briccole wood reclaimed from the Venetian lagoon.
Design and Real Wood.
Standout pieces include the Speed table by Karim Rashid, known for its innovative design, and the Curve bench, which releases the distinctive scent of cedar. Also on display are the Rialto Fly sideboard and the Freedom bookcase, both symbols of quality and durability. New for this year is the Web table, featuring a black-pigmented oak top and a woven carbon fibre base, bringing a touch of modernity and lightness.
This collaboration reaffirms that real wood, thoughtfully chosen and expertly crafted, can stand the test of time, delivering a message of sustainability and design excellence. Riva1920 and Silvera Saint-Germain serve as ambassadors of a craft that blends tradition and innovation in harmony with the environment.
