Enzo Mari在描述他为“Tra le Briccole di Venezia”（漫游于威尼斯木桩之间）项目创作的作品时说：Maurizio 和 Davide Riva 邀请我使用废弃的 Briccole 橡木进行设计，这些木材原本将被丢弃在无尽的垃圾填埋场中。任何人看到垃圾填埋场都会感到震惊，
但很少有人真正采取行动。我们需要行动起来，但这还不够。
垃圾填埋场也寓意着当今 "创意人 "中占主导地位的集体思维，即商品制造者。
我能做什么呢？
- 使用木材制作一个像样的设计（比如一张桌子），彻底摒弃 Briccola 木桩上所有的痕迹，包括藻类和海洋生物留下的孔洞？- 还是保留并夸张地呈现那些本应被丢弃的部分？
- 举办一个专门展示 Briccola 木桩的展览又有什么意义？
从而我决定创造一件作品，作为展览的象征：从一根未经处理的 Briccola 木桩伸出三块等待被重新利用的半加工橡木板……
