
ANNA ZEGNA
Anna Zegna is the President of the Ermenegildo Zegna Foundation ETS.
She graduated with a degree in Political Science in 1980 and went on to complete a postgraduate program in Advertising and Marketing at Watford College in London the following year. In 1982, she became Head of Public Relations for Gianni Versace, before joining the Ermenegildo Zegna Group in 1984 as Advertising & Marketing Director, later taking on the role of Image Director.
In 1993, together with her cousin Laura Zegna, she conceived and developed the Oasi Zegna project—an initiative that has since become an internationally recognized model for environmental sustainability and the protection of mountain landscapes.
Since 2000, Anna Zegna has served as President of the Zegna Foundation, an institution that carries forward Ermenegildo Zegna’s legacy of social responsibility and philanthropy. Under her leadership, the Foundation focuses on environmental conservation, sustainable development, health and wellbeing, and cultural initiatives for young people.
In 2014, she was appointed Managing Director of Oasi Zegna, and in 2021 she became its Sustainability Officer. She has been a member of the Zegna Group Board since 2018.
Throughout her career, Anna Zegna has received several honors: in 1998, the Green Globe Award from the Rainforest Alliance; in 2007, the Marco Polo Award from Babson College in Boston; in 2011, the Firenze Donna Award in the Fashion category; and in 2013, a special mention as Ambassador for Italian Family Business Culture from AIDAF.
