Claudia Borgiani

Stool made from a single block of aromatic cedar that traces the stylized outline of a long-legged chick pecking the ground. The products are made from completely natural wood, hand-finished without the addition of any treatment. Movements, cracks and changes in the appearance of the wood are intrinsic characteristics of these items and result from the natural settlement and diverse environmental conditions.

Claudia Borgiani

Claudia lives in Ancona, and after spending part of her life in London, she decided to come back to her country, where there is a strong tradition of craftsmanship. Indeed her journey as a designer started by curiously examining the world around herself.

She aims at creating evocative, practical and amusing projects.

She loves the research and the synthesis of the shape portraying an experience, a memory and she feels the need to transform, to forge and to recognise the object from its material.

She’s fascinated by materials and by the form in all its expressions and she researches the functional and formal simplicity that is a result of the synthesis of reality and its sophistication because she believes this gives the required strength and lightness for the success of a good project.
