Luca Martorano+Mattia Albicini

Luca Martorano (Bolzano, Italy 1980) and Mattia Albicini (Milan, Italy 1980) both achieved their Master Degree in Industrial Design at Politecnico di Milano in 2005. They met at the end of 2008 while they were working for two international design studios in Milan. Between 2010 and 2011, they respectively worked in London (UK) and Sydney (AU) and in 2012 they moved back to Italy where they started to work together in the fields of product and interior design.

Their strong commitment and their common approach to design led them to manage projects in various fields, ranging from furniture to lighting, from tableware to home appliances, from automotive components to bicycles. Their eclectic production combine pure, simple shapes with high functionality and strong research often exploring unusual and natural materials.
