Ambasciata del Gusto – Annunciata Milano

L’Ambasciata del Gusto – Annunciata Milan, which  is based at the former Convent of Abbiategrasso, is a cultural project, sponsored by the Association Maestro Martino, of which Carlo Cracco is the founder and President, with the aim of promoting  the culture of the area and the “Made in Italy” thanks to signature cuisine. The Ambasciata  achieves its purpose  by offering cooking courses, cultural events and tastings. The focus of the activities are Lombard agri-food products and those coming from international cuisines as part of cultural fusion projects.

The name of the Association derives from that of the great experienced Lombard chef born  in 1400 who worked at the Sforza court. Maestro Martino was the first chef writing  a cookbook, the Libri de Arte Coquinaria , composed between 1450 and 1467 and considered a landmark of Italian and international gastronomic literature.

Milan Gourmet Experience is the format of events that the Association has created to promote the greatest chefs dishes, art, fashion and design.

For the second year running, Riva 1920 has furnished one of the rooms of the former convent of the Annunciata with a spectacular table, called Riflessi  in Laguna  whose   top is made of Briccola, the poles of the Lagoon of Venice,  and the steel base is designed by Helidon Xhixha. A set of stools made of cedar of Lebanon completes the furnishing.
