CLESSIDRA (hourglass), a product of the fertile imagination of Mario Botta. A stool worked from a single block of fragrant cedar-wood. Using a unique procedure, the block of cedar is worked till it takes on this highly original form that looks almost like to hemispheres one balanced on the other. CLESSIDRA can also be “stacked” (on request): thanks to a metal pin that can be inserted into the centre of the seat, one stool can be set on another to make a “sculpture” as well as an interesting piece of furniture.
